The “Cotton Farsala” team participates in the group of cotton growers of VIOLAR S.A.

The “Cotton Farsala” team of cotton growers, which participates in the group of cotton growers of Violar S.A. for the application of:

  • The CSF BASF protocol – FiberMax® Certification with Sustainable Agricultural Practices and
  • The National standard AGRO2

Participated in the program for the collection and utilization of empty plastic packaging of crop protection products in the Municipality of Farsala.

The members of “Cotton Farsala” cotton growers’ team, based on the principles of continuous improvement having as a lynchpin the protection of arable land and the environmentally sound production of a qualitative product, were trained on the proper management of empty plastic packaging of crop protection products by AEIFORIKI S.A. and with wide participation they led the plastic packaging to be recycled at the collection points designated by the Municipality of Farsala.

The President and the members of "Cotton Farsala" team, who participated in the program for the collection and utilization of empty plastic packaging of crop protection products of the Municipality of Farsala in the presence of the local executive of AEIFORIKI S.A. and BASF SA as well as the Director of Agricultural Economy of Larissa.
